Our Process
Step 1 is to educate yourself! Do your research on the Goldendoodle breed, it's sizes , coat textures, grooming requirements and typical temperament. Be sure you are ready to take on the extra responsibility. Our goal is for our puppies to be placed in homes that are ready for them.
-
Clients can fill out a puppy application (see below) at any time. We will then be in touch within the next few days to discuss details, and figure out if we are a good fit for you. A non-refundable deposit of $500 will reserve your spot in the upcoming litter and you will be placed on the reservation list for the upcoming litter.
-
About a month after Dallas is bred, we will have an ultrasound done to confirm pregnancy.
-
We will then reach out to the clients that have made deposits let them know the good news! Until we have a confirmed pregnancy we will keep our deposit list at 5 and place subsequent families at the top of the list for our next litter. If for some reason the number of puppies is less than the number of people who have placed deposits for the litter, we will automatically move those families to the top of the list for the next litter or refund the deposit.
-
We will notify families who have placed a deposit when the puppies are born and you will get regular updates on their growth.
-
We will temperament test the pups at 6-7 weeks after which it’s time for Puppy Picking!! We will schedule a time for you to come meet the puppies in person or via FaceTime. The puppy contract will need to be signed (if it hasn’t been already) and the balance of the puppy will be due. We will also ask you about your training plan for when you bring home your Mini Goldendoodle puppy.
-
At 8 weeks you will come pick up your puppy at our home or we can meet you or a puppy nanny at the Fresno or Ontario Airport.
When puppies go home they will have had their first round of shots, received a microchip, and a clean bill of health from the vet. We have a 1 year health guarantee on all of our puppies.
